A major regeneration opportunity for West Belfast.

Following a series of consultations and workshops since 2006, the plans for the eighty five acre Glenmona site in West Belfast have been submitted to the Northern Ireland Planning Service.

The site, which is the former location of St. Patrick's Training School, is one of the most important sites remaining undeveloped in West Belfast. The new plans outline a mixed-use 'Urban Village' which includes major new housing and employment uses alongside a wide range of community facilities. The plans also include major new infrastructure works and roads that will allow for further connection to, and development of, the sites known as the 'Glen 10' or Ard na Glanna.

See the downloadable PDF version of the Masterplan summary document.

The full planning submission is available at Falls Road Library, Central Library, the Glenmona Resource Centre, the offices of the West Belfast Partnership Board and the NI Planning Service Headquarters, Millennium House, Great Victoria Street.
